Widely known for her work on hit titles such as [Cowboy Bebop](https://anilist.co/anime/1/), [Tokyo Godfathers](https://anilist.co/anime/759/) and [Macross Plus](https://anilist.co/anime/474/). She is noted as the original creator of [Wolf’s Rain](https://anilist.co/anime/202/). She also contributed scripts for [Samurai Champloo](https://anilist.co/anime/205/), [Space Dandy](https://anilist.co/anime/20057/) and [Carole & Tuesday](https://anilist.co/anime/101281/). She passed away on December 1, 2021 after a battle with esophageal cancer.
