Under the name of Rika Hanamaruki, she had a biannual doujin activity called "Hanamarking", which mainly focuses on male-oriented creations. She has also published a number of illustrations for novels and boys' manga under the name Chougaku. She made her debut in manga magazines under the name of Rika Hanamuraki, but changed it for Chika Ogaki in 2000.
