He is affiliated with the Kadokawa-backed agency GeeXPlus. Garnt is married to fellow anime YouTuber [Sydney Poniewaz (Sydsnap)](https://anilist.co/staff/329216/Sydney-Poniewaz). In February 2020, he joined [Joey Bizinger](https://anilist.co/staff/142939/) (The Anime Man) and [Connor Marc Colquhoun](https://anilist.co/staff/260141/) (CDawgVA) in creating and hosting a weekly podcast called [Trash Taste](https://www.youtube.com/c/TrashTaste), where they discuss anime, manga, otaku culture, and their experiences while living in Japan.
